Lixnaw GAA are pleased to announce Lixnaw Bord nÓg are embarking on a fundraising event to exclusively support Juvenile activities and
further development of our facilities.
The proceeds from the fundraiser along with annual juvenile club memberships fees will support Bord nÓg activities
*Coach to promote hurling in Lixnaw and Listowel Area Schools
*Sport Scientist with Kerry GAA Teams to develop
*Long Term Athletic development program for U14, U16 and U18 players
*Functional Movement Skills program for our academy boys and girls
*Family Fun Day
*Partially Fund travel to neighbouring counties for blitzes and games for all age groups
*End of year medal presentations
*Equipment to support skill development of players
*Initiate an ABC club for U6 boys and girls
The Club will further develop our Indoor Training facility which will allow commercial lease of the
premises. The facility will be a social hub for our club players, club volunteers and the community(as clients of the commercial tenant).
The further development of the area under the Stand will reaffirm the community focused spirit of the club.
Lixnaw GAA have partnered with a Personal Trainer/Sports Scientist who has extensive experience in the Fitness Industry along with preparing Kerry inter county teams in Football, Hurling and Camogie. The following services will be offered at our Indoor Training facility
*Group Fitness Classes
*Small Group Personal Training
*1 to 1 Personal Training
*Injury Rehabilitation
The fundraiser event will be held at the Kingdom Greyhound Track on Saturday May 24th and works as follows:
A race is assigned to Lixnaw GAA, the race has 6 dogs, so there are 720 combinations to the
order in which the dogs can finish the race
Each ticket has an individual combination printed on the ticket
The ticket with the winning combination wins a cash prize of €500 sponsored by Kathleen Foley
Each ticket holder receives admission and a race programme.
The tickets are priced at €10
