Lixnaw Hurling Club was saddened to hear of the passing of Margaret Conway this morning. Margaret was an absolute lady, who was a regular supporter at matches and was often to be seen in Hermitage Park over the years. She was a person of great heart and resilience who faced her health challenges with grace and determination. A great friend and neighbour to so many, she will be hugely missed in our community. 

The club offers its deepest condolences to Johnny, Michael, Teresa, Jennifer, Shane, the extended family and her many great neighbours and friends. 

As a mark of respect to Margaret and the family, upcoming Lixnaw senior club matches will be rescheduled and club activities in Hermitage Park scheduled for Friday and Saturday will be postponed. The 50th Anniversary event planned for Saturday evening next is also postponed and will be rescheduled in due course.
